What is the Town Clerk's Hours of Operation?
8:45AM – 5:00PM Monday - Friday.
How to apply for a marriage license, and how much it costs?
The marriage license cost is $25.00 and to apply, both parties are required to come in together and produce a picture I.D. The only exception to this rule is if one is in the military or incarcerated, or if one is in the hospital with death being imminent.
There is a three (3) day waiting period before a license can be issued, and it is only valid for sixty (60) days from the date of application.
What is required to license a dog, and the fee(s) involved?
The current rabies paperwork, and the spaying/neutering certificate of the dog. Dog license fees are as follows:
Only three dogs can be licensed PER HOUSEHOLD, if there are more than three (3) dogs a kennel license is Required. Kennel License fees are as follows:
4-5 dogs - $30.00 permit issued thru Health Dept.
6-10 dogs - 60.00 Requires Zoning Board Approval
10 or more dogs - 150.00 Requires Zoning Board Approval
